The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology (MCN) seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy clinic location in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This position will provide services to general neurology patients with a special focus on patients who have headache concerns or Multiple Sclerosis. Responsibilities will be to perform physical exam (new patient consults and rechecks), coordinate patient care, manage prescriptions, informing patients of results, assisting with phone calls, paper work and provide patient/family education. Will also be trained to perform Botox injections, nerve blocks and trigger point injections for treatment of headaches. This position allows for the provider to build their own practice and have autonomy.
Hours are 8:00 - 5:00, Monday through Friday, with no call, evenings or weekends.
Master's degree from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with certification and current license required. Experience with neurology or internal medicine highly desired. Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with a high level of autonomy. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health record required (Epic preferred). Must be willing to travel to MCN's Golden Valley, Maple Grove and Edina locations.
